Greetings,
My name is Bob and I live in Lantzville, British Columbia, Canada. I own a modified 1974 TVR 2500M. I am planning a 6 to 8 week road trip through England and Europe. I plan to ship my car over to England and go from there, hitting as many car related activities as I can. One key stop will be Classic Lemans. I am hoping to connect with fellow TVR owners along the way. I am wondering if anyone in France would be willing to chat with and help me plan my trip.
Cheers, Bob

Hi Bob. I ll be happy to show you what Occitanie mean. Occitanie is a great county on the west France. I am living near an old town called SARLAT, you will find it on a map. If your trip in France lead you near this point, I ll be happy to meet you there. Kind regards, Alain.

Ok Bob, will be nice to meet a Canadian man in Mercadiol, where are living Australian, and English people (from May to September). On google map, if you write MERCADIOL, you will have a direct look on our garbage( :( ), and you move the camera on left , directly on our house. lol, see you, Alain.

Hi,
Nice trip (and nice car)!
Our French TVR Car Club will be present at Le Mans Classic, so we may have the opportunity to meet you.
Else, if you plan to see the Alps and the lovely town of Annecy, do not hesitate, we are at the crossing of Switzerland and Italie and it will be a pleasure to indicate you the superb twisting roads with great panorama (but maybe this is not such a great change compared to British Columbia  ).
Have you something in mind except for Le Mans?

In the early stages of planning and hoping to get suggestions from people like you. I would love to take my car out on Nuremberg, visit certain car museums and factories, attend as many car events as possible, and meet like mind auto enthusiasts - oh yeah, I also love great food and wine, beautiful country side and history! I will post something more about my thoughts for the trip soon, and am open to suggestions.

Bummer, just found out there is no Classic Lemans in 2019, it is every other year.

Right, I have not seen that your trip was planned for 2019.
Spa classic in Belgium is also a great event, but I can imagine that this is not as notorious as Le Man's.

Hello Bob,
Indeed your coming the wrong year to assist at LMC, because it happend every two years and next time is this summer 2018 then 2020.
Anyway, you may assist to Spa Classic on the mythic Francorchamps circuit and depending on the period of the year your planning to come, there is also the Goodwood Festival of Speed around june or Jully, and the Amazing Goodwood Revival in the begining of september.
regards
Olivier
